Rowan House Society believes that everyone deserves to thrive in safe and empowering relationships. Safety and inclusivity are important to us and our services and supports are available for all individuals experiencing abuse, in any form.
Our emergency shelter facility is currently only open to female clients (with or without children), however, our Support Line, Outreach and Prevention programs are available to everyone, no matter your race, cultural or spiritual background, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Rowan House Society is located in High River, Alberta, on Treaty 7 Territory.
The area served by Rowan House is spread over 27,500 square kilometres and three municipal districts: Foothills County, the MD of Willow Creek, and Vulcan County.
This includes, but is not limited to, the communities of DeWinton, Heritage Pointe, Aldersyde, Blackie, Cayley, High River, Okotoks, Millarville, Black Diamond, Turner Valley, Longview, Eden Valley, Priddis, Bragg Creek, Nanton, Parkland, Stavely, Claresholm, Vulcan, Champion, Carmangay, Arrowood, Mossleigh and all of the rural areas in between.
