Healthy Relationship Groups for Women

Love shouldn’t hurt, and you are not alone. No matter what you may have been told in the past or have been led to believe, everyone deserves safe and empowering relationships. If your relationship feels unhealthy, abusive or “off"; if you’re in need of understanding, support or information - this free, six-week Healthy Relationship education and support group may be for you.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Healthy Relationships

  • Domestic Abuse and the Cycle of Abuse

  • Effects of Abuse and Coping Skills

  • Effects of Abuse on Children

  • Self-Esteem and Healthy Boundaries

  • Safety Planning and Moving Forward

Our Healthy Relationships Groups run in person. Snacks and child care will be provided. Register for upcoming dates in 2024/25:

Okotoks (Wednesdays) - 6-8pm

  • September 11 - October 16, 2024

  • January 15 - February 12, 2025

  • May 7 - June 11, 2025

High River (Wednesdays) - 6-8pm

  • November 6 - December 11, 2024

Diamond Valley (Fridays) - 9:30-11:30am

  • October 18 - November 22, 2024

Nanton (Tuesdays) - 10:30am-12:30pm

  • November 12 - December 17, 2024

  • May 13 - June 17, 2025

Vulcan (Tuesdays) - 9:30-11:30am

  • April 1 - May 6, 2025
